Monumental American Victorian Carved Mahogany Hall Seat, c. 1890, the arched leaf crest over an arched leaf carved crown above a rounded corner wide beveled mirror flanked by double gilt iron coat hooks, over a lift seat flanked by rectangular arms with applied relief carving, H.- 99 in., W.- 54 in., D.- 19 1/2 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Age spotting to the mirror. Yellow residue along the left edge of the mirror. 1 inch of yellow residue on the bottom edge of the mirror frame. Hinges detached from the seat and lacking six screws. Hooks slightly loose. Slight fading to the top of the back. Soiling throughout the base. An approximate 1 inch chip in the front right foot. A lovely piece. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
