Nine octavo volumes. Four folding plates depicting drafts of the Declaration of Independence in Volume I. Modern three-quarter dark brown morocco over marbled paper-covered boards, raised bands on spines, marbled edges. Marbled endpapers. Boards and board edges a bit rubbed, backstrips modestly soiled. Text block and page edges lightly toned with sporadic foxing. Volume I has front hinge starting. Volume IV has pages 413-502 adhered via small glue residue on fore-edge. Very good.
