Elaborate Italian Giltwood Mirror of Renaissance Inspiration, first quarter 20th century, set with an arched and beveled mirror plate, with an inset mirror surround cut with stars, the top and bottom decorated with bold gadrooning, the crest depicting a lion's head set into pierced scrollwork, the lower edge with a crest flanked by cornucopia and winged angels resting on scroll-carved angels, h. 63", w. 38".

There is a chip to the lower left curl at the bottom of the frame. Great patina and detail throughout. Other minor old chips and losses from age. A very dramatic mirror.
