Transitional Louis XV-into-Louis XVI-Style Kingwood and Marble-Top Commode, early 20th century, the rectangular marble top with canted corners, above a conforming case fitted with three long drawers. all banded and with lattice-patterned parquetry panels, the sides en suite, raised on cabriole legs ending in sabots, h. 35", w. 43-1/2", d. 18".

The marble top in excellent condition with a few tiny rough spots to edges commensurate with age. The commode structurally sound and with a good, intact finish. The top lock escutcheon missing. The left side top corner mount needs to be reattached. The foot mount needs attaching securely.
