A pair of George III carved mahogany open armchairs attributed to Gillows

in the Sheraton taste

The square backs with lobed finials above moulded, stiff leaf and paterae carved triple vertical splats, above downswept moulded arms and leaf carved arm supports, on serpentine caned seats and ring turned stiff leaf carved tapering legs with spool feet, together with loose buttoned and braided cream squab cushions.
