Description
Large cloisonné plate from the 18th century. The plate has blue, pink, green, and red enamel on bronze. In the center of the plate is a shou symbol. Surrounding it are bats and lotus flowers.
Dimensions are 11 1/2 inches in diameter by 1 1/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance: From a Washington DC estate, formerly in the collection of Mr. Marcel Baudez who was the French Consul General in Shanghai from November 1938 until May 1940 and the Fall of France to Nazi Germany.

Condition
It is in good condition with one small rough spot on the rim. The bronze has an aged patina.
