Description

Jade stone carved with a landscape and poem, circa 1951. Large, smooth white jade stone carved with landscapes on either side with houses and men in boats. Each side is also inscribed with a poem, signature, and seal. The landscape and poem are in gilt. The stone is on a brown cord with a tassel and a deep olive green jadeite bead.

Dimensions are 1 7/8 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From a Boston estate. Collected in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s.
