Description
Jadeite carving of birds from the late Qing dynasty. The large jadeite carving is of two crested birds with a flower in between them. It is set within a pink tourmaline base. This base is screwed onto a metal stand that was previously a light fixture. It has a rod extending from the back.
Dimensions are 3 3/8 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches high without the metal base. The base is 2 3/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.

Condition
The carving can potentially be removed from the stand by unscrewing the bolt with care. It is in good condition aside from the metal base.
