Description
Two porcelain snuff bottles from the late 19th century. One is white ground with a red underglaze of calligraphy about the body, the other is white ground with blue underglaze of people fishing. The first snuff bottle also has a red underglaze four-character mark on the bottom. Both have green stoppers with spoons.
Dimensions for the blue underglaze snuff bottle are 7/8 of an inch wide by 3 1/4 inches high. Dimensions for the red underglaze are 1 inch wide by 3 3/8 inches high. All measurements are approximate.
