The uncommon dust jacket reproduces the frontispiece illustration. We have seen another example of the dust jacket, but without the illustration. It is not known which would have come first, but an indication may be that the three titles listed on the rear panel advertisement were published in 1924 or 1925; the price on the jacket spine is 5/- net. At any rate, the state of the dust jacket with the color illustration by Rackham would seem quite desirable regardless of priority. One of the scarcer of the works illustrated by Arthur Rackham. Jacket with top ¾" of spine strip missing along with adjacent portions of front and rear panels, affecting the beginning "A" in the spine title, a few smaller edge chips and tears, minor soiling; contents with slight darkening, top edge a bit soiled and darkened; very good.
