Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru, Huari / Wari culture, ca. 500 to 1000 CE. A wooden kero (quero) with an incised and stippled design around the body. A cylindrical base underneath a rounded cup, all carved from a single piece of wood, this may have been used to drink ceremonial beverages. Size: 4.45" W x 6.3" H (11.3 cm x 16 cm)
Provenance: Ex-Berman collection acquired before 1975
