Lucan informs his correspondent 'I beg to write a cheque (£7-8-8), balance owing to you on 40…' With blank integral leaf. Cardigan's letter has a portion of a label adhered to the top right corner, signs of a former mounting to verso, light stains and a cut piece of printed text adhered to the integral leaf.
