ROYAL ALBERT HALL: An unusual small selection of signed pieces and album pages by various individuals associated with the Royal Albert Hall in London comprising Prince Albert (1819-1861, Prince Consort of the United Kingdom 1840-61, husband of Queen Victoria. The Prince’s vision and enterprise led to the purchase of land in South Kensington upon which the Royal Albert Hall and other cultural and educational institutions were established), Henry J. Wood (1869-1944, English Conductor associated with London’s annual series of promenade concerts performed at the Royal Albert Hall from 1941), Malcolm Sargent (1895-1967, English Conductor of the promenade concerts performed at the Royal Albert Hall from 1948-67; bold pencil signature) and Charles Hubert Hastings Parry (1848-1918, English Composer of the choral song Jerusalem, regularly performed at the Last Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall).
