Vintage Friction 1962 Ford Thunderbird 4-Door Sedan by Bandai, Japan. Brilliant blue body with white top. This is a part of the 'License Plate Model Car' series by Bandai. None of the box license plates have been cut out as you will typically find them. Polished trim all shines like chrome with no tarnish or corrosion. The tin lithographed interior and plastic steering wheel is nicely detailed with absolutely no damage. Blue tinted window "glass" is clear with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage, and still tightly held in place. Black base is perfect. Friction works well. Wheels and tires are near perfect as well. Body is near perfect. White tin hard top has a scratch on the right passenger side and top drivers side has a paint flaw. The car measures 11" long, and comes in its original box. A very rare car to find today! A Frankonia Toy.
