Description

Karpen of California, lounge chairs, pair, USA, 1950s, painted wood, brass, upholstery, unsigned, 30.5"w x 32"d x 28.5"h

Condition

The chairs have been reupholstered. The frames have been refinished, and appear to have faux-painted wood grain. One chair has decorative round brass disc plates on the armrests; the other chair does not. Several screw cover caps are missing from the sides of the frames. No chips or cracks to the wood frames found. Sturdy and structurally sound.
