This is an original oil on canvas painting by Robert Meyers. Bob Meyers was a commercial illustrator early in his career with his works being published in the Saturday Evening Post, True and Argosy. Meyers was inducted into the Cowboy Artists of America in 1970, however, he was tragically killed by a neighbor in a dispute later that year. This painting is titled "Roping a Cow" and shows a cowboy roping a steer in midstream. The painting shows fantastic detail and realism. It is in good condition. The frame measures 28" x 38".
