Description
This is an exceptional American built quarter sawn oak mercantile cabinet from the Marcus Daly estate in Helena, Montana. Daly was a Copper King in Montana in the late 1800's. The haberdashery cabinet shows exceptional craftsmanship with solid construction. The piece is manufactured in two piece with the top showing two original glass doors with round pillars. The entire piece shows all original fantastic brass hardware. This would have been displayed behind the counter in an early Old West Country Store and is truly a rare piece. One of the finer early American Mercantile cabinets we have offered for sale. The piece has been professionally restored and is in fine condition. Measures: 97" H x 72" W x 18" D
