The clock surmounted by mercury figure atop globe-shaped clock face, two nude Atlas figures supporting globe, broken pediment to case with putto finials atop scrolled crests, torch finials to cardinal corners of case, front with elaborate allegorical pierced gate, caryatid mounts to left and right, interior with applied marble and lapis panels, six drawers with figural lion pulls, below to long drawer with reticulated gating, case sides with conforming decoration, raised on recumbent lion feet to front and toupie feet to reverse.

Hardstone additions may be of later vintage, some loose mounts, missing elements to Mercury figure surmounting case, age-related cracking to reverse boards, rubbing to gilt bronze mounts, age crack to pediment, pediment and case likely a marriage, clock mount loose, clock mechanism not in working order and without key, chip to back board near foot, with wear commensurate with age and use.
