A LATE AMERICAN CLASSICAL PERIOD MAHOGANY DROP FRONT SECRETARY CABINET, NEW JERSEY, CIRCA 1850, of upright rectangular form, the ribbon mahogany veneered front with oval racetrack form crotch mahogany veneered inset to hinged drop front fitted with shelves and maple fronted drawers, over two arched form crotch mahogany veneered inset hinged doors fitted with a shelf, raised on crotch mahogany veneered single drawer base with brass backed ebonized wood pear shape handles. Height: 43" Width: 29 1/2" Depth: 15 7/8"
