STERLING SILVER HISTORICAL / FIGURAL SOUVENIR SPOONS / FORKS, LOT OF 13, including a Joseph Mayer & Bros. full-figural sailor example with "USN" embossed to the drop, and embossed "Mt. Hood / Portland, OR" scenic decoration to bowl, a Howard Sterling Co. example with embossed portrait of Admiral Dewey to tip, and embossed decoration to bowl depicting the U.S.S. Olympia, a G.A.R. 28th National Encampment, 1894 example with figural rifle handle, and the seal of the city of Pittsburgh embossed to bowl, a Watson example with figural rifle handle, an Alvin Mfg. Co. demitasse G.A.R. example, with handle in the form of a G.A.R. medal surmounted by crossed cannons and a federal-style eagle, and assorted Boston-related imagery embossed to back, including the Bunker Hill monument, and a Dominick & Haff citrus spoon example with Fort Sumter scenic decoration to bowl, St. Michaels Church to handle, and marked for retailer James Allan & Co. Total silver weight: 9.81 ozt. Late 19th/first half 20th century. 4 1/8" to 6" L.
