ASSORTED SHEET-IRON / TIN AND OTHER LARD AND OIL LAMPS, LOT OF FIVE, each with a reservoir supported by a single stem and saucer base, single strap handles, including a copper Samuel Davis type example; a conical form with refill chamber adjacent to font and with original brass cap; and a Portsmouth Betty example with single wick channel. Three examples fitted with period burner. 19th century. 6" to 7 1/2" HOA.
Good overall condition with moderate wear, two examples with later paint, Davis-type example with some light denting, two examples with stem juncture repairs, two examples with losses resulting in pitting including one with losses to font. Davis-type burner with detachment to one channel.
