Description
AMERICAN LATE WINDSOR HIGH CHAIR, three spindle back, shaped plank seat, raised on tall slightly splayed bamboo-turned legs joined with box stretcher. Refinished surface. Together with a Windsor tablet-back rocker (oak, walnut, and poplar), possibly Southern, possibly converted from a side chair. Two pieces total. First half 19th century. High chair 36 1/2" H, 11 1/4" x 12 1/4" seat.
High chair lacking foot rest, scattered wear. Rocker good with minor wear.
