depicting Arthur Balfour departing as captain of the ship Unionist Party, and being replaced by Andrew Bonar-Law, also titled "Swopping the Pilot", with acknowledgements to Sir John Tenniel's "Dropping the Pilot", pen and black ink on card, 435 x 250mm., signed in ink alongside a copy of Tenniel's monogram, titled and inscribed in pencil, including "John Bull, today - urgent", the publication's address inscribed on verso, [1911] § Hill (Leonard Raven) A Phenomenon Explained, satirical drawing of two wealthy bankers musing on the unusual politeness of the lift-boy as Boxing Day approaches, pen and blank ink with wash, over charcoal, 390 x 260mm., signed lower right, captioned below ; with original artwork for 3 further cartoons, 1 of two military officers, itialled R.C.W, and 2 of men with dogs, by George Armour and E.J.
