BUFFALO CHINA NEW YORK CENTRAL RAILROAD CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF FIVE, in five color and edge variations, having a romantic scene with ruins and floral border, Altman refers to the design as "Country Garden". Made for the New York Central Railroad. Three marked "Ye Olde / Ivory / Buffalo / China", two marked "COLORIDO / WARE / BUFFALO / CHINA", some with additional starbursts below the mark. Buffalo, New York. Circa 1930. 10 7/16" to 11 1/4" D.
Excellent undamaged condition.
