Description
Two Korean porcelain bottles. 17th century Korea, Joseon Dynasty. The taller bottle, pear-shaped having a cup-shaped mouth and decorated in underglaze iron-brown with stylized floral / leaf sprays, covered by a thin grayish white glaze, 10.5" high, 6" diameter. The smaller bottle of ribbed tapering form, decorated in iron-brown with a stylized motif, 7" high, 5" diameter.
CONDITION NOTE: Repair to mouth of taller bottle and restoration repair to the smaller bottle, see photos.
