Description
An 18th century Continental oak-cased triptych, the dentil cornice over fielded panelled pilasters and twin doors, opening to reveal a Crucifixion scene with monastic saint, Virgin Mary and attendant, the side panels each with further saint, one with bishop's mitre and crozier, main panel 20.5 x 15 (52cm x 38cm), side panels 17.25 x 8.25 (44cm x 21cm), externally 26 x 25 (66cm x 63.5cm).
Condition
Joint gap to main panel, rubbing to right side of cornice. Some vacant dowel holes to doors. Otherwise sound.
