Hemispherical wall map centered on Hawaii. 67 cm (26¼") in diameter, on sheet 81x72 cm (31¾x28¼"), backed with cloth, wooden rollers at top and bottom.

Rare hemispherical map of the Pacific Ocean and adjacent land masses, with the Hawaiian Islands at the center, with distances shown from Honolulu to various places in the Americas, Asia, and Australia. Includes a time difference table. The map was published in 1908, the year that the construction of Pearl Harbor commenced, in concert with that event. OCLC/WorldCat lists six examples, but two of those are at the Wisconsin Historical Society so may be duplicate listings; the others are at the University of California Los Angles, University of Colorado at Boulder, the Newberry Library, and the University of Illinois.
