A finely and rare delicate buddha statue, gilding throughout. The gilt standing buddha statue standing on a wood stand, hands opened, devotional say. Dressed in a nice robe, sensitively carved with serene, naturalistic downcast expression, very elongated earlobes, typical mound of flesh. Attributed to North Wei Dynasty. It is exceedingly beautiful and it has a very high culture & art appreciation and collection value. Dimensions: H: 45 cm, 北魏鎏金铜佛站立像：北魏（386--534)是鲜卑族拓跋珪于公元386年建立的国号，后分为东西魏，到公元556年西魏灭亡，共历18帝170年。公元398年，北魏建都平城；公元439年，灭北凉，统一北方，与南朝对峙。这时，佛教在中国北方盛兴，皇家和黎民百姓都修庙宇。皇家修建庙宇里的佛像，铜胎鎏金的较多，而且铸造工艺精湛，造型端庄，鎏金的金层较厚，经久不掉；黎民百姓修建庙寺里的佛像，大多是木胎泥胎的塑像。明代永乐、宣德和清初三朝(乾隆中期止)精制的铜鎏金像，素为有实力收藏家重视。尤其是佛像、菩萨像、罗汉像和民神像，品相上佳者近二十年来升值很多倍。　　永乐和宣德时，铜鎏金技术可说臻至高峰，十分成熟；其实，那时应是我国古代铜鎏金工艺的复兴期，并非始创期。若从欣赏及研究我国珍贵文物角度看，铜鎏金工艺乃始盛于北魏，晋、唐等时代渐发扬光大。周代、春秋、战国、秦、汉流行的，并非铜鎏金，而是一种“火镀金”，应称为“鋈锡”或“镀锡”；多限于铸制立体动物与日常器皿。　　由于魏、晋六朝至五胡乱华时期，社会动荡混乱，人心惶惶，无所皈依；适逢佛教传入后，很快盛行民间，故佛像需求甚殷，权贵人家更崇尚铜鎏金佛像，但流传至今者远比明、清时制作的更罕。北魏铜鎏金佛像皆形貌温雅，如清风秀骨，显得静穆和亲切。这尊北魏鎏金佛造站像，身高约45厘米，佛像的肉髻为球状高髻，保留了部分太和时期遗风。但脸形变长，眼若纤月，眉作半弧，鼻翼丰满，嘴角上翘，略带微笑，端庄素雅大耳垂轮双目微睁面容慈善，神情温和。最具特色的是造像的衣纹装饰，袈裟如帔帛一般交叉于胸前，身后部分长长的垂在两旁，明显是装饰性强过写实性。这尊鎏金佛像距今已有1500至1600年，鎏金完整，未露铜胎，全身无缺陷，确实是件稀世罕见之珍品。 ConditionVery good condition.
