DESCRIPTION: Max Rosenthal (Pennsylvania, 1833-1918). Three etchings on paper. Includes: 1) Napoleon. Marked on lower right "Max Rosenthal". Marked on lower left "Isabey, Pinx.". 5-1/8" diameter. Overall with frame and mat 9-1/2" x 9-1/2". 2) Parlor with image of President George Washington above the mantle. Marked "Max Rosenthal 1908" on left and signed in pencil to lower right. 7-3/4" x 5-1/4". Overall with frame and mat 13-1/4" x 9-1/4". 3) Portrait of the artist Edward Savage as noted verso. Marked "Copyright 1899 by Max Rosenthal". Marked in pencil "No. 24". Noted under image of twenty-five sets in four states printed for subscription. 6-5/8" x 4-3/4". Overall with frame and mat 10-3/4" x 8-7/8". Max Rosenthal was active/lived in Pennsylvania. Max Rosenthal is known for portrait, historical, and ship images. MEASUREMENTS: See Description.
