Item: Antique English Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Pitcher

Materials: Stoneware

Size: 8.75 inches high x 8 inches wide

Signed with an incised RB for Rosina Brown (1874-1905). It is in overall good condition with a small chip to the spout and a crack to the base of the handle. There are light glaze scratches and scuffing throughout as well as other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Royal Doulton is an English company producing tableware and collectables, dating from 1815. Operating originally in London, its reputation grew in The Potteries, where it was a latecomer compared to Royal Crown Derby, Royal Worcester, Wedgwood, Spode, and Mintons. Its products include dinnerware, giftware, cookware, porcelain, glassware, collectables, jewelry, linens, curtains, and lighting.
