Description
13th-6th century BC. A large bronze flange-hilted dagger with slender leaf-shaped two-edged blade, hollow grip with socket to each face to accept an insert and lateral flanges to retain it. Cf. Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran - The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tübingen, 2006, p.381, Cat.13. 191 grams, 36.7cm (14 1/2").
