DESCRIPTION: A bronze and red marble mantle clock set, retailed by Starr & Marcus. Topped with a bronze of a Neoclassical woman shrouded in a headdress and jeweled with gilded tones. Overall all clock is embellished with two tone bronze watch case with tetes des lions side handles fitted with rings in their jaws. The beveled glass case covers the red marble clock face with gilded Roman Numerals and hands. clock rests on beveled red marble base. Set also includes two matching figural two light candelabras. One is topped with a Neo Classical Greco-Roman woman flanked by arching candlestick arms embellished with vines and grape clusters. The other is topped by a Neo Classical Greco-roman man. Each are finished dore bronze chains and beveled red marble bases. Clock is signed: "R A Starr & Marcus New York" Back of the bust is signed:"A. Carrier".
