A pair of carved wooden Ancestor idols with archaic faces from the Lega, of the Congo, central Africa. The pair of Statues , a male and female are wonderful examples of the style, with the "coffee bean" eyes and angular style of carving the legs and arms, and of course the classic facial treatment. The tallest measures 17.25 inches tall.
