CHARLES WRIGHT STUDIO ART GLASS BOWLS, LOT OF THREE, comprising two translucent pink disk-form examples, and a slightly tapered translucent pink-cased example having bladed base with swirl of pink, white, and orange to base, rising slightly into walls; two signed. Fourth quarter 20th century. 2 1/8" to 3 3/4" H, 6 1/4" to 6 5/8" D.
Undamaged, except one disk-form example with a minute bruise to shoulder.
Provenance: Property from the Dexter Charles Wright estate collection, Ponte Vedra, FL.
Catalogue Note: Charles Wright (1944-2016) was a self-taught glass blower and sculptor. From 1970 to 1976, he taught at the Center for Creative Studies, College of Art & Design, Detroit, MI. _x000D_
His work has been featured in many exhibitions and museums, including the Tampa Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the John Nelson Bergstrom Museum, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Alexander Brest Museum, and the Daytona Museum of Art & Sciences.
