CHARLES WRIGHT STUDIO ART GLASS CANDLESTICKS, LOT OF THREE, cased, comprising three different size examples, the largest with latticinio-like ribbons to column, on amethyst base, the mid-sized example with blue and opalescent swirl cushion to central knop, on amethyst base, and the smallest example with red and cream swirl cushion to central knop, on amethyst base; each signed to base. Fourth quarter 20th century. 7 1/4" to 14 3/4" H.

Catalogue Note: Charles Wright (1944-2016) was a self-taught glass blower and sculptor. From 1970 to 1976, he taught at the Center for Creative Studies, College of Art & Design, Detroit, MI. _x000D_
His work has been featured in many exhibitions and museums, including the Tampa Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the John Nelson Bergstrom Museum, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Alexander Brest Museum, and the Daytona Museum of Art & Sciences.
