Description
18th c. Berks County, Pennsylvania Softwood Paint Decorated Small Wall Cabinet, in traces of the original green paint, with a shaped bracket base having two graduated shelves, the cabinet with deep flat cornice, single four panel door having a wood thumb turn closure, two shelf interior, 68- 1/2" 28" x 17". Takes a 19- 1/2" corner, very good condition.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned from Colonial Williamsburg, it was on display in the Governor's Palace from 1933-63, then in Wetherburn's Tavern from 1968-1980.
