Rifled octagonal barrel with front and rear sight stamped on top flat "L ROYET" near breech. Flobert-type center fire single shot action with center hammer on brass tang. Brass spur trigger guard and lion's head pistol grip cap. Figured walnut pistol grip buttstock with crescent brass buttplate and checkered panels on each side of wrist and forend. Right side of stock has vacant brass plaque. Fair condition; barrel retains a spotted brown patina with some surface rust and scattered areas of pitting. Bore has some pitting as well. Action has been cleaned but still has some surface rust and pitting. Brass retains a mellow patina. Stock good with one hairline crack below action on left side and a series of scratches at bottom on both sides of buttstock.
