Gun (A) is an unusual six shot, spur trigger single action revolver that appears to be a Japanese Smith & Wesson Model 2 Old Army. Has a brass frame, octagon barrel, full rib and two piece walnut grips. Top of barrel and backstrap have Japanese characters and Navy anchor. No other visible markings. No serial number. Barrel and cylinder are gun metal grey with salt and pepper pitting. Gun indexes fine. Excellent rifling. Gun (B) is a Cooper Arms five shot double action, .31 caliber percussion revolver with a 4" octagon barrel, brass trigger guard and backstrap and one piece varnished walnut grips. Serial No. 8433. Matching numbers. Missing one lower frame screw and wedge locking screw. Sharp barrel legend. All metal is a brown patina. Brass has never been cleaned. Some chips to bottom of grip. Indexes perfectly both single and double action. Bore has numerous areas of black powder abrasion.
