The Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun was designed by John Browning and was made from 1911 to 1948, at the time one of the finest semi-automatic shotguns in production. While not particularly scarce on today's market, this is the first deluxe stocked English style example we have seen. Features a straight checkered grip, has the Remington logo black composite buttplate. Features a full matted solid rib and single bead. Barrel retains nearly all of its original factory blue finish with razor sharp legends. Frame retains nearly all of its original blue as well, with just some minor age freckles and light high edge wear. Trigger guard and lower tang are drifting from blue to patina. Buttstock exhibits beautiful grain, finely checkered, perfect wood to metal fit, no cracks or chips with just usual minor impressions. An extremely scarce high condition special order Remington.
