Iron head on a period wood haft. Unfortunately, the name on the blade is too difficult to make out. The handle is the original but a little loose due to shrinkage. The piece measures 13 inches long. The ax head measures 4-5/8 inches long. Heavy brown pitted patina, wood dry and shows signs of age.
