Description

Unique American Folk Art. Antique hand carved and painted walking stick or cane said to have been crafted by a Union soldier as he was a prisoner of war during the American Civil War and passed down through several generations of ancestors. Decorated with a variety of military symbols, including the American flag, Army, Navy, Calvalry and regimental insignias. Dated, "1861-1865". Excellent condition. Measures 34" long.
