Description
Edward Wormley (American, 1907-1995) for Dunbar (founded 1910), circa 1950s. A mid-century modern "Tuxedo" sofa, having a low, rectangular form on four squared, mahogany legs, with two removable seat cushions, re-upholstered in tan and white windowpane Belgian linen. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 26.75", width 85.5", depth 33", seat depth 21.5", seat to floor 18.5".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some expected scratching and dings to legs. Sun fading to upholstery, which is only noticeable when cushions are removed. Some dust and minor soiling, particularly under cushions. Some small accretions that can likely be cleaned. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
