A Mission Collection Harvey Ellis quartersawn oak writing table, having a rectangular top with a removable upper cabinet, fitted with six drawers and two folding cabinet doors, opening to reveal interior storage compartments, with a rectangular apron inset with one long and two short drawers, with four plank legs on an H-stretcher, the sides marquetry inlaid with Art Nouveau patterns, together with a matching upholstered slat back desk chair. Branded oval shopmark (1985-2007) and Mission Medallion (1989-2007) to underside. Approximate height (of desk) 40.5", width 41.75", depth 23.75", height (chair) 43", width 16.75", seat depth 14", seat to floor 19.5".

Structurally sound and overall very good condition. Hinges on the superstructure possibly replaced making the removal of fitted interior difficult. Very small chips and very minor wear to finish; at corners and feet not distracting and commensurate with usage.
