Description
Dutch, 18th century. A walnut cross-banded chest of drawers having a serpentine molded top with canted corners over a comforting case chamfered reeded corners enclosing the three beaded and cross-banded drawers, each with individual locking mechanisms and decorative escutcheons and pulls, raised on a ogee bracket feet. Approximate height 35.62", width 45.75", depth 21.75".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Surface scratching, wear, abrasions, denting, staining, and large losses to both back legs. Cracking to sides, likely from shrinkage, some losses, seam separation, some losses between drawers.
