Description

Cast Iron Figural Hitching Post, 20th c., of jockey form, on an integral square base, H.- 48 1/2 in., W.- 25 1/2 in., D.- 16 1/4 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Heavy rust along ring. Scattered rust intermittently throughout, especially the base. Cracks in white paint along the base of the foot. Scattered 1 cm cracks throughout paint on arms. Light soiling to top of head. Several short green streaks along proper right arm. Several 1 inch losses to paint on the shoulders and along one edge of the base. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
