Description
Gorham (American (Rhode Island), founded 1831), designed 1890. A sterling silver fish serving set in the "Marie Antoinette" pattern, comprising a fish slice with bright cut floral and scroll engraving to the blade and the serving fork with bright cut floral and scroll engraving to the tines, no monograms. The 11.5" slice hallmarked for Gorham, stamped "STERLING" and weighs approximately 3.85 troy ounces. The fork hallmarked for Gorham, stamped "STERLING" and weighs approximately 2.89 troy ounces.
Condition
Surface scratches to both. Discoloration commensurate with tarnishing to both; largely contained to backs. Nicks to edges commensurate with use. No monograms.
