Description
Likely English, late 19th century. A large and finely decorated George III silverplate samovar having beaded square base raised on four bun feet, with urn form body having two scrolling swan neck handles to either shoulder, with bright cut decoration to front of body with radiating leaf tips surrounding a blank monogram medallion, also with bands of gadrooned scallops terminating in foliate sprays, with conforming lid bearing turned finial. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 19.75", width over handles 12.25", depth 9.75".
