Description
Manufactured in Plymouth, Connecticut, the mahogany case with carved eagle splat and half -columns flanking the full-length door, the lower glass with an illustration from Godey's Ladies Book covering the pendulum aperture, the wood dial hand-painted with flowers and Arabic numerals; the interior with the Hoadley label, the original winding key, two cast iron weights, and a pendulum. 27" H X 15" W X 4.5" D. Losses to key escutcheon on door, illustration a later replacement, cracks to lower glass panel, door sagging. Property from the estate of renowned belly dancer Serena Wilson.
