Pair of Chinese gilt bronze cloisonne Enamel Tripod Censer and Cover, with a design of scrolling leafy tendrils suspending night lotus blossoms surrounding the centralized longevity Shou character. It is supported on three cabriolet legs emerging from gilt lion masks, rising to a prominent waisted neck further to a banded rim. Flanked by a pair of curved up swept handles on the sides, decorated with key fret pattern. All embellished with further multi-colored lotus scrolls. The domed cover is decorated with similar lotus blooms surmounted with a gilt finial cast as five-Fu bats amidst clouds.



Mark on each base, embossed a four seal script -KaiShu- characters mark, enclosed within square frame border, QianLong Reign Period.

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in excellent condition.ÿ
