The Chinese nephrite jade carved unto a tall rectangular shaped plaque, with high relief of Buddha figure, with hands in Dhyana-Mudra, seated in full lotus position upon a standing elephant. Alternately in verso, the plaque decorated with plum blossom tree. The jade shows moist milky pale-grayish color with beautiful sporadic brown-russet inclusions naturally decorated the plaque. Exquisitely displayed upon a carved hardwood double lotus throne pedestal.
